Octavian, 44-27 BC. Denarius (Silver, 20 mm, 3.38 g, 1 h), Brundisium or Rome, circa 32-29 BC. Bare head of Octavian to right. Rev. CAESAR - DIVI [F] Mercury seated right on rock, petasus slung on his back, playing lyre. BMC 597. Cohen 61. RIC 257. A wonderful and lustrous piece with an excellent portrait. The obverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, good extremely fine.
